    (Effective Fall 2011) This course provides an orientation to the college environment, acquaints students with study skills, prepares them to integrate traditional study skills with college content areas and emphasizes the academic skills necessary for success in a college setting.     This course is the first of a two-semester course designed to introduce the student to accounting principles, practices and techniques. Emphasis is placed on accounting for a proprietorship.
