MEET 2173 Air Conditioning and Lab3 Credit Hour(s) This is a course wherein air conditioning is used to introduce the student to the principles of thermodynamics and heat transfer. Topics covered include basic thermodynamic principles, heat and the change of state, heat transfer, psychometric chart techniques, human comfort factors, load and load calculations, equipment selection, mechanical refrigeration, fluid flow, evaporative systems, air distribution, and control systems.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 1740 , PHYS 2010 or approval of program coordinator
