LEGL 2350 Bankruptcy and Creditor Rights

3 Credit Hour(s)
Students study the various documents, procedures, and stages encountered in bankruptcy law, and prepare and review a variety of bankruptcy forms.
Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. demonstrate understanding of a Chapter 7 bankruptcy;
  2. demonstrate understanding of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy;
  3. demonstrate understanding of a Chapter 13 bankruptcy;
  4. demonstrate understanding of an involuntary bankruptcy; and,
  5. demonstrate understanding of the rights of creditors in a bankruptcy proceeding.


Prerequisite(s): LEGL 1300  and LEGL 1320  with a “C” or better
