At Southwest Tennessee Community College, students have the right to appeal any college decision that they believe to have an adverse effect on their pursuit of an education or participation in college programs. A full listing of Appeal Levels beginning with the “First Level of Contact” is available to all students in the Student Planner.

If a student feels the concern has not been resolved through the process listed above, the student may address the complaint in writing within one calendar year from the time of the event resulting in the complaint. Students can complete a Student Complaint Form for all Academic and/or Non-Academic concerns in Advising, or online at https://www.southwest.tn.edu/advising/student-complaint.php.
