AHS 2000 Management and Leadership for Allied Health Sciences3 Credit Hour(s) This course introduces management functions and leadership principles, and teaches students how to carry out these concepts in health care organizations. There is a focus on management theories and strategies and how to implement them, as well as the development of leadership expertise. Students will gain skills and knowledge needed to assume professional responsibilities required for management and administrative positions in allied health fields.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
