PTEC 1050 Intro to Process Control3 Credit Hour(s) This is an introductory course for students entering the Industrial Process Control program. Students will be introduced to physical science topics including solids, liquids, heat transfer, thermodynamics, electronics, and electricity and their significance in Process Control. This class is intended to provide a scientific background in the physics of plant operations, while preparing students for PTEC 1060.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
