FIRE 2370 Public Fire and Life Safety Education3 Credit Hour(s) This course addresses the skills and knowledge needed for the fire service professional who will prepare, coordinate, instruct, and manage a local/community-based fire and injury prevention program as outlined by NFPA 1035. These types of programs are designed to eliminate or mitigate threats to lives, health, property, and/or the environment.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
