ENST 2341 CNC Programming II 3 [2 lecture hours + 3 lab hours] (5 contact hours/week)] Credit Hour(s) Credit Hour(s) A course covering the creation of computerized codes used to control computerized machining equipment using CAM software. Student Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of the class, students will be able to:
- Student will create machine programs by using Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software.
- Apply canned cycles, loops, and subroutines in programs from within CAM software.
- Complete a project from a CAD file through the machined part.
Prerequisite(s): ENST 2340 or approval of the program coordinator. This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university they intend to transfer to for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about the transferability of credits.
