ENST 2341 CNC Programming II

A course covering the creation of computerized codes used to control computerized machining equipment using CAM software.
Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of the class, students will be able to:

  • Student will create machine programs by using Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software.
  • Apply canned cycles, loops, and subroutines in programs from within CAM software.               
  • Complete a project from a CAD file through the machined part.   


Prerequisite(s): ENST 2340  or approval of the program coordinator.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university they intend to transfer to for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about the transferability of credits.
