ACCT 1410 Payroll Accounting

This is a general survey of payroll accounting and related topics with an emphasis on practical application. Payroll tax laws and computerized preparation of forms and records are primary topics. Successful completion of this course prepares the student for the Certified Payroll Professional Examination.

Prerequisite(s): ACCT 1010
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
