ECED 2060 Development of Exceptional Children3 Credit Hour(s) Explores practices that early childhood professionals can apply to develop a more inclusive and accessible environment for all children ages birth to eight years. Provides students with skills to include children of all abilities through appropriate arrangement of the environment. Includes strategies for developing strong relationships with families and other community agencies. Field experience is required.
Prerequisite(s): ECED 2020 and ECED 2040 or department approval This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
