ECED 2085 Math and Science for Early Childhood Education3 Credit Hour(s) A course on standards, principles, and practices in teaching mathematics and science to young children ages birth to eight. An emphasis will be placed on developing an integrated math and science curriculum that includes appropriate content, processes, environment and materials, and child-centered choices. Field experience is required.
Prerequisite(s): ECED 1010 and ECED 2020 or department approval This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
