INMT 2110 Fluid Power I and Lab4 Credit Hour(s) This course presents the basic principles of hydraulics and pneumatics and its practical applications. Emphasis is placed on a fundamental understanding of the physical principles of fluid power and the principles of applications of different types of pumps and compressors and the role each plays in a total fluid power system. The design, application, and maintenance of system components are reinforced in the laboratory where work is accomplished on actual equipment and systems.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 1740 or approval of program coordinator This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
