INMT 2254 Advanced CNC and Robotics4 Credit Hour(s) This course is designed to be a continuation of INET 2014 CNC and Robotics . Primary emphasis is placed on the logical analysis and problem-solving techniques associated with the operation and maintenance of CNC machining centers and industrial robots. Advanced programming features such as mirror imaging, polar rotation, datum shifts, turning, and threading are presented. Off-line computers used in CAD/CAM/CIM systems are covered along with robotic applications. Hands-on labs are featured.
Prerequisite(s): INET 2014 This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
