INMT 2264 Automated Industrial Systems4 Credit Hour(s) This course is designed as a hands-on approach to the automated industrial systems in a modern manufacturing or service organization. CNC machining centers, robotics, automated conveyors, automatic storage and retrieval systems, vision inspection and identification systems are examined. A systematic approach to troubleshooting coupled with logical preventive maintenance program is an integral part of the course.
Prerequisite(s): INET 2014 This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
