ITEC 1010 Web Page Development3 Credit Hour(s) The focus of this course is on the design and creation of a website with the pages written in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) using a text-only editor. Topics include HTML structural tags, tables, forms, image mapping, and formatting with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for presentation. Students are introduced to HTML5 and CSS3 techniques. All Web pages will validate to current HTML and CSS standards. Each student will publish and maintain a website on a college-managed Web server. One computer per student is assigned for the course
Prerequisite(s): and or permission of instructor This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
