ITEC 2205 UNIX/LINUX System Administration3 Credit Hour(s) This course provides the foundation skills necessary to a system administrator. Topics include managing processes and network clients, planning file systems, managing users, managing network configurations, printing, backing up files and systems, troubleshooting, performance tuning, security and installation procedures. One server per student is assigned for the course.
Prerequisite(s): ITEC 2201 This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
