ITEC 2341 Introduction to Network Security3 Credit Hour(s) This course provides the student with comprehensive overview of network security and covers communication security, infrastructure security, cryptography, operational/organizational security, disaster recovery, business continuity, as well as computer forensics. Maps fully to COMPTIA’s Security+ Exam objectives. Extensive hands-on and research projects actively place the student in the role of the security professional. Gives a comprehensive overview of network security from basic concepts to advanced topics such as cryptography and computer forensics.
Prerequisite(s): ITEC 1330 This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
