SPED 1200 Issues of Adult Diversity

This is an introduction to the history of treatment and services offered to persons with disabilities. Also included is an overview of current and best practices involved in providing medical, physical, behavioral, communication and social-emotional supports to this population.

This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
