The hospitality industry employs over 35,000 people in Memphis and Shelby county and new lodging operations are opening all the time. The A.A.S. degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management concentration is designed to teach students the important management skills that are required for supervisory and management careers in hotel and lodging operations. A combination of classroom, computer lab work, and work experience opportunities provide a well rounded education in this challenging, but exciting field.

Third Semester: 18 Credits

Fourth Semester: 14 Credits

Total Program Credits: 60

This program of study is designed as a terminal degree for a specific career field.

This program requires students to register and complete Cooperative Education administered by Career Services. Student elgibility requirements can be found on the Cooperative Education webpage.
