The CIT Cyber Defense Technical Certificate Program provides the skill set needed to begin a career in cyber security industry. The certificate prepares students to learn important concepts such as ethical hacking, cryptography, computer networks and security, application security, malware threats, along with hands-on demonstrations. 
Student’s will be able develop a firm understanding of cybersecurity infrastructure phase. Designed for students seeking to retain an occupational field. The program provides training in three areas: These areas include:

• Network Security
• Vulnerability analysis
• Mitigate Threats

Upon completion of this program, certificate holders will be qualified to work in the industry exploring legal aspects in cyber-attack. In addition, the courses completed in this program may be applied towards an A.A.S. degree in Computer Information Technology concentration in Cyber Defense.
