The Architectural Design Technology A.A.S. degree program provides an academic and technical foundation for individuals for employment in the architectural, building construction, and design professions. Topics may include building design fundamentals, construction document preparation, building information modeling, sustainable design, building design fundamentals, construction building systems, and building practices.
The Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Design Technology is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ABET) under the commission’s General Criteria and the Program Criteria for Architectural Design Technology (http://www.abet.org).

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Apply problem-solving and architectural design concepts creatively in the building delivery process.
- Communicate effectively using verbal, written, and visual means in a collaborative environment.
- Create architectural design and construction documents using current industry software applications.
- Analyze the integration of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems into architectural documents.
- Evaluate and implement Green Building practices in the design and building process.
