CHEM 1120 General Chemistry II4 Credit Hour(s) This is a continuation of CHEM 1110 General Chemistry I . This course covers physical properties of solutions, thermodynamics, chemical kinetics, ionic and molecular equilibrium, acids and bases, electrochemistry, including oxidation-reduction principles, nuclear chemistry, and environmental chemistry. The course meets prerequisites for further study in chemistry in baccalaureate programs.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1110 with a grade of at least a “C”
