3Credit Hour(s)This course addresses the requirement that the mechanical and industrial engineering technology technicians be skilled in the principles of computer-integrated manufacturing. Emphasis is placed on Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines and their programming. Industrial robots and computer-controlled systems are discussed highlighting their applications.
Prerequisite(s):INET 1004, MEET 1144, or approval of program coordinator This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
