LEGL 1070 Torts3 Credit Hour(s) This course involves the study of traditional tort law and covers private or civil wrongs or injuries. Areas of study include intentional torts, negligence, appropriate standards of conduct, and strict liability. Particular attention is given to the nature of personal injury litigation and its documentation and practices. This course is required for students in the litigation concentration.
Prerequisite(s): with a grade of “C” or better This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
