LEGL 1400 Juvenile Law3 Credit Hour(s) This course focuses on the history and development of juvenile law, the impact of the law on minors as victims as well as law-breakers, and the contemporary juvenile justice system and its three major components of law enforcement, the juvenile court system, and corrections.
Prerequisite(s): LEGL 1040 with a grade of “C” or better This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
