ITEC 2404 Windows Database Applications - Access3 Credit Hour(s) This course explores how the key concepts, features and commands of the leading Windows-based relational database program Access, are utilized to solve almost any business problem. The goal is to become familiar with database design and implementation in a Windows environment with emphasis on data maintenance, queries, form design, reporting and macro writing. The goal is accomplished by using practical examples that are typical of those that everyday users of Access will encounter. One computer per student is assigned for the course.
Prerequisite(s): This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
