OFAD 1110 Keyboarding I3 Credit Hour(s) This is an introductory course to develop basic keyboarding skills that are needed to input alphabetic and numeric information accurately and quickly by touch on microcomputers. Emphasis on learning the touch operation of the computer keyboard is stressed, as well as building speed and accuracy. Basic document formatting is taught.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
