OFAD 1140 Records Management3 Credit Hour(s) This course explores methods for temporary and permanent record storage including alphabetic, geographic, numeric, and subject filing systems. It covers mechanical, computerized and manual filing and retrieval methods, control of filed information, micro records, and the organization and operation of records management programs.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
