CRMJ 1373 Introduction to Homeland Security3 Credit Hour(s) This course will introduce students to the vocabulary and important components of Homeland Security. We will discuss the importance of the agencies associated with Homeland Security and their interrelated duties and relationships. We will examine historical events that impact Homeland Security. We will explore state, national, and international laws impacting Homeland Security. We will examine the most critical threats confronting Homeland Security.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
