ENST 1402 CNC Operator - Planning, Benchwork, and Layout

This course is designed to introduce students to the concepts of planning, benchwork, and layout. This course provides training for CNC operators, not CNC machinists or CNC programmers. Students will learn about project planning and layout. Students will also perform the appropriate benchwork for any given project. this could include cutting, surface grinding, and workplace polishing.

This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
