EETC 1321 Electronics I 3 Credit Hour(s) This course introduces students to the principles of solid state devices and electronic circuits. These are designed and tested using diodes, transistors, and intergrated circuits for applications in op-amps, photosensitive devices, intergrators, differentiators, etc. Both digital and analog situations are examined along with applications for all electronic areas. Devices selected for investigation are used in later courses where they are presented in greater depth. Prerequisite(s): ENTC 1114 and ENTC 1124 OR completion of Learning Support Math OR permission of the program coordinator. This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
