GEOL 1030 Survey of Geology 4 Credit Hour(s) This course is a study of the composition of rocks, minerals, landscape development, earthquakes, the earth’s interior and exterior weather and climate, the nature of mountains and their development, and the drift of the continental and ocean crusted plates. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 0810 , READ 0810 , and Math Learning Support, or equivalent test scores This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
