The Cyber Defense concentration is designed to enhance employment opportunities by offering appropriate education to those seeking employment and those currently employed by agencies that (a) use and store data and (b) require constant protection of networks or information systems. Students will obtain the knowledge and skills necessary to make them both marketable and competitive in the workforce. In addition, the knowledge and skills students acquire will appeal to local business, educational institutions, and government agencies seeking to upgrade their existing workforce and secure their infrastructures from unsolicited cyber-attacks.
