Fourth Semester: 13-14 Credits

Total Program Credits: 60+

Contact Dr. Evan McHugh, (901) 333-5474, for college-parallel area of emphasis advising and transfer information. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.

Review General Education pages and/or consult advisor for correct selection.

Students should refer to the desired transfer institution to verify the requirements of the major and concentration. Students planning to transfer to the University of Tennessee-Martin should review History Gen. Ed. requirements, which are included under Humanities and Fine Arts.

For MATH Elective: MATH 1830 is the preferred MATH course and is required at UTK; however, students should refer to the institution to which they intend to transfer for the appropriate mathematics elective.  TSU will accept the following: MATH 1530, 1710, 1720, 1740, 1750, 1830, 1910, 1920, 2110.  TTU will accept the following:  MATH 1130, 1530, 1830, or 1910. Students transferring to MTSU must complete MATH 1530 and one of the following: MATH 1010, 1630, 1710, 1810 or 1910.

4 The number of general electives required for this degree must allow the student to meet the 60 credit hours required for the degree.
