This course presents techniques of effective interviewing for diverse individuals and lesson planning and material development for appropriate populations. The student is introduced to the nutrition care process, and a general introduction to nutritional assessment. This course is taken concurrently with DIET 1310 Principles of Nutrition.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
