BIOL 1300 Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology I 4 Credit Hour(s) This introductory course is designed to provide the basic foundation for successful comprehension of the human anatomy and physiology sequence of courses required for Health Sciences majors. Emphasis is placed upon the vocabulary, morphology, and functions of the systems of the human body. This course is recommended for all students lacking high school biology. This course is not credited toward majors in sciences or Allied Health. This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
