METC 1320 Fluid Mechanics

A study of fluid mechanics to include pressure, fluid flow, fluid energy, system losses, and system analysis.
Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Apply the basic properties of mass, specific weight, specific gravity, and density.
Associate and apply the concepts of energy and losses to various types of fluid flow
Associate the concepts of pressure and elevation

Prerequisite(s): MATH 1750, PHYS 2010, or approval of program coordinator.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university they intend to transfer to for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about the transferability of credits.
