ENST 2351 Statistics for Quality Control 3 [2 lecture hours + 3 lab hours] (5 contact hours/week)] Credit Hour(s) Credit Hour(s) A study of statistics as it is used in manufacturing to improve and control processes. Student Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Apply the seven basic quality tools used in a production system.
- Apply basic statistics to determine statistical significance.
- Apply statistical process control to processes whose inspections produce variable and attribute data.
Prerequisite(s): INET 1004 This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university they intend to transfer to for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about the transferability of credits.
