The certificate for Real Estate Professionals is designed for students with varied backgrounds. The certificate provides education and training in the practical knowledge and skills needed in today’s ever-changing workforce. This curriculum includes a total approach to the real estate professional, including principles of real estate, real estate law, real estate finance, and real estate investment.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to:
- Describe the defenses of a claim of breach of contract.
- Discuss the content of a settlement statement.
- Apply the mechanics of investment analysis and decision-making process as it relates to real estate.
- Apply principles related to cost-saving consumer decisions and calculations when confronted with the most standard loan alternatives and common variations in conditions.
- Explain lender controls of default risk and the steps in processing a loan application and closing.
