FIRE 2315 Principles of Homeland Security & Disaster Management3 Credit Hour(s) This course will provide students an overview of the concepts of homeland security and disaster management at the local (operational), as well as the national (strategic) level. This is a writing and discussion intensive course designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for fire service-related homeland security/disaster managers in the future.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
