IPCT 2370 Industrial E/I I3 Credit Hour(s) This course is designed for students in the maintenance technology program to be exposed to basic industrial electrical concepts. Topics include industrial safety for electrical and instrumentation, introduction to the NEC, electrical theory, alternating current, test equipment, flow, level, pressure and temperature, hand bending, tubing, instrument drawings and conductors and cable terminations and splices.
Prerequisite(s): Must be ready for college-level math; or program coordinator approval This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
