ARCT 1100 Architectural Drawing3 Credit Hour(s) This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of graphic representation for communication of architectural concepts, ideas and technical details. Students will be exposed to a variety of graphic conventions that represent three-dimensional thinking on two-dimensional media. Topics may include reading construction documents, sketches, adjacency diagrams, construction principles and the use of orthographic projection to create architectural plans, sections, elevations, details and specifications.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
