ARCT 2735 Building Codes in the Design Process3 Credit Hour(s) This course involves the study of building codes, zoning ordinances, and Federal laws from the perspective of one designing a building or other structures. Building codes and zoning ordinances protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public and positively impact the aesthetic aspects of the community.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
