ETEC 1031 Digital Circuits I4 Credit Hour(s) This course presents digital circuits fundamentals. Topics include number systems, Boolean operators, and digital logic circuits. Students will interpret and perform logic operations on numerical representations in binary, decimal, hexadecimal, and octal number systems. In the lab, students will assemble and test digital logic circuits, including fixed logic gates, latches, flip-flops, counters, adders, decoders and encoders.
This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
