GART 2040 Pixel Imaging II3 Credit Hour(s) This course provides an introduction to color theory and perception and the use of color in producing electronic images. Students compose original images as they learn advanced features of Adobe Photoshop. Emphasis is placed on using Photoshop techniques, creating corrected images, and mastering color control. Color theory and how we perceive color is explored in order to develop control over color correction. One Macintosh computer per student is assigned for the course.
Prerequisite(s): GART 1040 This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
