PLBT 1350 Phlebotomy Seminar2 Credit Hour(s) This course examines issues to include professional conduct, stress management, interpersonal and communication skills with patients, peers and other health-care professionals, legal and regulatory issues. In this course, students will develop job interview skills and prepare a resume. This course also provides a review in phlebotomy theory and procedures in preparation for a comprehesive examination.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Phlebotomy program. Corequisite(s): PLBT 1301 and PLBT 1401 This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
