MLAB 2403 Clinical Microbiology4 Credit Hour(s) This course examines the study of microorganisms of medical importance as it relates to man and disease. The course includes discussions of proper collection, handling and examination of specimens, staining and culture techniques, identification methods, drug sensitivity testing, and quality control procedures.
Prerequisite(s): Program Restriction - Enrollment limited to students admitted to MLT program. This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
