RADT 2390 Radiologic Practicum VI3 Credit Hour(s) This course is a continuation of Radiographic Practicum V and is designed for students to participate in radiographic examinations under approved supervision in the clinical setting. Experience in a variety of procedures will assist students in applying theory and developing specified levels of competence. Students will demonstrate advanced use of radiographic equipment, along with the display of professional level skills in positioning, patient care, interpersonal communications, image analysis, and radiation safety practice. Advanced improvement of critical thinking and problem solving skills for non-routine situations will be exhibited along with exposure to special exams. Competence at this advanced level will be evaluated and documented for a selected category of exams.
Prerequisite(s): RADT 2380 Corequisite(s): RADT 2210 RADT 2385 This course is not designed for transfer to four-year universities. Students should check course recommendations with the college or university to which they intend to transfer for a baccalaureate degree. The receiving institution always makes the final decision about transferability of credits.
