LEGL 1320 Legal Research3 Credit Hour(s) This course is required for all students in the Paralegal Studies program. Students are introduced to principles of legal research including traditional and online resources, and they will learn to perform legal research using primary and secondary authorities such as federal and state statutes, state and national reporters, legal encyclopedias, treatises, and legal periodicals. Students also learn proper citation formats and how to brief and analyze court cases.
Prerequisite(s): LEGL 1300 with a “C” or better
