LEGL 1360 Criminal Law3 Credit Hour(s) This course provides a study of state and federal criminal laws and procedures as well as the paralegal’s role in criminal cases. It covers the substantive aspects of criminal law and includes the general principles of criminal liability, specific analysis of particular crimes, and substantive defenses to crimes. Constitutional safeguards and procedures from arrest through trial, sentencing punishments, and appeals are also studied.
Prerequisite(s): LEGL 1300 and LEGL 1320 with a “C” or better
